Caring For The Body Of Christ

“The disciples, as each one was able, decided to provide for the brothers and sisters…”  Acts 11:29 Part of our ministry as Christians is to care for the body of Christ.  That is to care for each other.  This care can range from prayers, to a word of encouragement, to words of accountability, to studying…

How Is God’s Message Communicated To Us?

“Your prayers and gifts to the poor have been received by God as an offering” Acts 10:4 God’s message is communicated to us in many different ways.  Visions, messengers from God,  and even traveling evangelists. All are used for God’s purpose to preach the gospel.  God will use you as well.  Ka Lamaku.

What Is Our Witness?

“Peter traveled about the country, he went to visit the saints”  Acts 9:32 Our witness is shown to others by the service we do.  They know we are Christians by our love.  How do we express that love to others?  With mercy and grace.  Ka Lamaku.

Being With Jesus

The world will recognize those who have been with Jesus.  Something about their lives has changed and it is undeniable.  The world will not agree with you or even side with you;  but it will see you.  You are salt and light to them.  You are Ka Lamaku.

Building Of The Church

We often worry about our role in the building of the church.  Our role is simple:  We allow God to work in us and through us, and pray for the results.  We are workers who are in a partnership with Jesus in his mission.  May we be Ka Lamaku.

Empowering of the Holy Spirit

The empowering of the Holy Spirit for each of us puts us in community with each other.  Scripture plainly teaches that the Holy Spirit gifts the members of the body of Christ as He determines is best for the body.  When we minister and work in our areas of giftedness then we are for the…
