Who will care for my Elementary
age child?
Kingdom Builders (volunteers) who recognize the importance of building relationships
with our keiki (child) and who love children and our God. Kingdom Builders serve
on a weekly basis so that your child will feel valued and loved.
How will you help my Elementary
age child to develop spiritually?
Your child will experience fun, active learning through singing, drama, games,
object lessons and application time. They will discover that the Bible is true
and was written for us today. They will be able to recognize sin and understand
that it separates us from God. They will learn how to make the right choices
and how to share our faith. |

How can I teach my child about God at home?
Each week your elementary child will bring home their Home
Connection which is a tool designed to help families to leave
a spiritual legacy by talking about their faith. This tool
will drive home the point that your child learned in Kingdom
K.I.D.S. It also helps your child get into the WORD each
day and shows them how to apply it to their everyday lives
so that they learn to live like Jesus.
How will I know if my child is ready to be baptized?
God made each of us different and He works in our lives differently.
As a result, each decision will be made as Jesus leads
your older child to grow and mature in HIM. Your child
will recognize sin in their life and truly be sorry for
the separation from God this causes and want a Savior.
If your older child has been asking to get baptized we
have a baptism booklet (child friendly) that we like to
go through with you the parent and your child. This is
the greatest decision your child will ever make and it
must be their decision. They need to own it. As much as
we want them to make that decision and live for Christ
the ownership must come from them. If your child is interested
in becoming baptized please call the office (422-7811)
or email the Kingdom K.I.D.S. Director at KIDSDir@islandfamily.org to set up an appointment to study together.
Our Sign in/out procedures will provide each family with
a card and a family #. This card / # will serve as your
pick up claim ticket. In addition, if your child should
need you prior to the service being over the Kingdom Builder
will page you by entering your child’s # into the
silent paging system and it will flash in the auditorium.
Medical personnel are available should the need arise.

We know that you have been in school all week so we want
Kingdom K.I.D.S. to be the best time of your week. We want
you to enjoy learning about our God and get excited about
the plans that He has for your life. Hanging with God is
never boring. Come and join us for an eventful time!
